Former England manager Sir Bobby Robson is to unveil a new road named in 
his honour on Tyneside.

The 75-year-old, who lives near Durham, will open "The Stupid Old Fucker 
Smells of Piss and Cabbage Street", linking a new housing and business 
site near Brunton, Newcastle, with the A1.

The ex-Newcastle manager will unveil one of the new road signs and drive 
through a red ribbon at a special ceremony on Friday afternoon if he can 
remember to turn up. He has described the honour as "a little unfair, blub".
