just about good enough to beat the appalling Switzerland by a single goal.

Capello seems to have learnt nothing from MacClaren's mid-term mistakes. 
His team and tactical selections seemed very experimental, and I can't 
believe he'd try anything like that in a serious match.

Is this some bizarre football/golf hybrid they were playing? Euro2008
has sunk a long way since they decided they didn't want us to be

If the Romanians had not shit in their pants and held the line then the 
Russians would never have pushed South from their positions on the 
Eastern Front.
