The New Zealand team for the Hamilton and Wellington Tests of the recent
home series against England contained four batsmen in the top six who
attended the same school. Sinclair, Oram, Taylor and How are all ex pupils
of Palmerston North Boys High School, a state (ie non fee-paying) school in
the sleepy so-called city of Palmerston North (population 78,000).
