What does any of this have to do with intellectuals. A word that I
have found strange.

Now now don't ruin my babe-magnet self image. That's what I usually
delude myself to be:)

No infact what I am saying is they are different. The OP contains the
kernel of one of the differences: The sensitivities (over) of these
posters. Let me restate:
"ok, let me tell you what he was alluding to. I don't know if you are
aware, but this issue of Indian Muslims supporting Pakistan is a
sensitive issue. There is history behind it. And frankly, there are
some
who do support Pakistan. Probably a minority, but let's face it, they
exist. "
Mohan
"Now the truth is starting to emerge and I will commend you Mohan for
it. People have been throwing all this crap about hurting the
sensitivities of Indian muslims when it is their own sensitivities "
arahim
It should not be Shoaib's problem if people see skeletons where there
are none. Oversensitization of these posters is their problem.

See above.

Because these posters came up with some high fallutin reasons behind
the Shoaib saga which in principle should apply here as well. What I
am infact saying is that this was just a mask for the real reasons
which Mohan points out.

I have answered this above but will illustrate in a seperate post with
examples to clarify:)
