Which ones? The blue ones? They aren't the greatest quality, but I'm yet to
see one of the red ones to compare. Looks ok on them though, but then they
aren't close up!
p.s. 104-5 at lunch. Well bowled Jimmy.

No, I don't mean those -- it looked like some of the players were
wearing some sort of thin white pullover/jumper instead of a more
traditional white woollen job.
I may well be mistaken, though; will have to look more closely when
I knock off work and watch a bit more of the match this evening.

I quite like them (the shirts, not the drinks)

On radio commentary someone mentioned he had been given a cap which was
cream with cream lions. Is he talking about the England training cap I
wonder? I would have though a TMS commentator would have been familiar
with those. Or is there a new apparition about?

Because he was in the Grand Stand. MCC Ground Regulations require
people in the Grand Stand to be paralytic by teatime.

Quite. Clearly poor old Stuart's never been to Lord's.
One poor bloke two seats in front of me celebrated so hard that he
fell over, showering about 15 people in front of him with the contents
of his beer. The stewards were ready to pounce.

How white, you say? The poet within seems keen to expound "a sinfonia
of alabaster".
