MLB.COM TV: speed
Tonight 10,May 20:59 I'm getting speeds as low as 21kbs. There is
frequent buffering. Normally it runs great. But last 4-5 nights I get
all of this. I'm on Tesco.net was NTL now Viginmedia 512. Any of you
baseball fans on a *different* ISP getting the same for this game
Rangers v Yankees?

Thanks in advance.

Can't help on that specific game, but last night I watched two archive
games from Wednesday, both at 400K, they being the Marlins/Dodgers
(From 5pm to just before 8), then the Redsox/Blue Jays from 8 to late,
no buffering or any streaming problems on those, although as I say, it
was archive games, rather than what I assume was a live game for you.
I'd be inclined to suggest it was your ISP at fault rather than the
feed frlm MLB.tv
Oh, yeah, i'm on Pipex, with a 1Mb connection.

Thanks.
I get archived stuff no problem at all. Live games are another matter.
I would be interest in the quality of any live games you watch.

Usually I only watch live on weekends, and certainly last weekend
(saturday from about 9pm and sunday from 6pm) I recall it was all OK.
Next live game will likely be red sox/Orioles at 1pm tomorrow (sat) to
be followed by one of the games starting about 9pm, so If I remember,
I'll report back then.
