Hi (Ciaran?), at 18 years old I was a 3000m runner 9:09 (IIRC) and
4:15.8 at 1500m. That, however was many years ago. I got that 9:09
down to 8:48 two years later, but after that my main improvements were
at longer distances - best of all being two minutes under the Road
Runners Club 1st Class Standard in the Chichester to Portsmouth race.
(1:27:48 for 26km)
Also took part in memorable team competitions like the Athletics Plate
Final. (sponsored by G.R.E. in those days)

What competitions are you targeting this year?
