Those meteorite crates are typical of an impact on shallow water hence
the flattening of the Rim & its ensuing dispersion by marine erosion;
This is a constant in Australia until it was freed of water a mere 12
000 years ago !  However apart the result of special high level
pressure & temperature reached at the point of impact,and hence the
metamorphic material which you discovered, ,the only but real interest
of the site would by in the a light diamond drilling rig which you
could descend on the main crater and push down to 300ft. It would not
be that expensive to rent one, and my knowledge of Australia added to
the True Geology understanding let me think that you could be in for a
massive 2 to 3 tons meteorite, which would allow you to buy easily
that new house you are dreaming about !

On another subject, would you care to give me news from those great
people I have mentioned before, namely FRANK EDDY, DAN CONDON, Di
DAVIES, SANTO VARAPODIO,COCKLIN ? I am concerned those brave gentlemen
could be on the verge of despair indeed ! It could be worthwhile then
to tell them direct who are the Criminals to whom they owe their
predicament & indeed unbearable suffering ! They would then pass the
word around so that Australia at large really knows what is the only
remedy to the end of ONE IN A THOUSAND YEARS DIVINE DRUDGING DROUGHT :
TWO MOST HEINOUS COLLECTIVE CRIMES INTO WHICH THE  HIGHEST INSTANCES
OF THE LAND ARE UP TO THE NECK
