Thanks for your advise Sir JPT
this modest impact crater ?? has white Quartz extrusions around the
rim , and uplift visible exposed indicate all the classic signs you
expect to see , except I see no ejecta in the immediate vicinity ,
perhaps it was blown further afield and I only looked a few hundred
meters around the edges
Im no expert on impact craters mate but I note large amount of zircon
visible to an observant eye in the loose sandy bottom of the crater,
that may perhaps be worth another look perhaps , mind you the zircon
may predate or post date the impact or be totally unrelated
I suspect a modest size meteor of recent origins as not a lot of wear
on exposed surfaces
Didyou know My Grandfather carried the Murnpeowie Meteorite out of the
dandy desert 100 years ago on camels and donkey teams to the rail
road , it also was found lying on the surface and of very recent
origin
A most beautiful huge specimen of over a ton

It was for many years sitting at the front entrance to the South
Australian museum
Makes you want to pack up and head bush hey mate
We dont need white christian and jewish capitalists to give us their
