I would try not to sell around 30% of the countries gold reserves while the
price of bullion was at a 10 year low thus losing around 3 billion pounds.

If there was danger of terrorism by Islamist I would not allow sharia law to
be practiced in Britain and allow most major cities to become over run by
muslim immigrants then inflict draconian privacy invading measures on the
population like ID cards, CCTV just about everywhere but toilets and make
moves to be able to read everyones email thus putting the country on a par
with places like Russia, China and Singapore lack of privacy.

Instead of tying home grown budding eco energy projects up in beurocratic
red tape so that it takes at least 10 years to get a wind farm up and
running then selling the projects to Arabian OPEC members I would encourage
anything that gave INDEPENDENCE from OPEC instead of prolonging the
dependancy on energy indefinatly for the future generations perhaps even
when oil is no longer used.

Finally if I had the misfortune to be Gordon Brown I would get a new face as
the old one does not seem to fit any more.
