Ok, just so long as no criminals or terrorists have guns either.
In the meantime, I'm very glad that cops can have guns to deal with
armed criminals and terrorists.
Trying to take on gun armed people without a gun is just a quick way
to suicide.

Within every professional body there are people who make cock-ups, are 
incompetent, are dishonest. I don't see why people are so surprised that the 
Police should be any different. I'd be interested to see statitics comparing 
deaths due to Police mistakes and deaths due to mistakes of the medical 
profession.

Ah but Martin the Police assured us time after time after time since 1968 
that if new gun controls were introduced gun crime would fall dramatically. 
So by the polices own words we must now be living in a gun crime free 
society, when if fact since the last gun bans in 96 gun crime rose over 125% 
in 6 years.
 The only affect of banning law abidding citizens is to turn us into a 
nation of victims in waiting.
The Cops, Politicians and idiots of the anti gun lobby simply never grasp 
that gun carrying criminals dont obey ANY laws.
