When someone says that he or she is not a CAPITAL-A Atheist ( is not one 
who believes that gods cannot exist), he or she may still be a small-a 
atheist (one who lacks belief that any god does exist).

And unless one is theist, one is necessarily small-a atheist.

So if fasgnadh denies being small-a atheist, he is explicitly declaring 
belief in some god, even though he is being coy about which one.
