Barbara Rix was the candidate. She was recently widowed and her late
husband was the County Councillor for Aylsham, not overlapping this ward
AIUI.
She is certainly a long-standing and dedicated activist. She was up in
Harrogate as a volunteer steward at our Spring weekend Conference on
Friday!
