Err no. The seat was held by a Tory. A previous Broadland "independent"
stood as a Tory this time (helped by a serving Broadland "independent") and
was resoundingly beaten by an excellent Lib Dem campaign and a first class
local candidate.

With a swing like that, in the current state of national politics, there
almost have to be special local or personal issues involved, whether
attaching to the Conservative (ex-indepent) or LibDem candidate.
