It has to be pointed out, Mr. Bayes has not been charged and it is
premature to attach specific definitions to events which may be up in
the air, or indeed, which turns out not to be a case.
I think the only public statements relating to Steven Bayes have been
issued by a Health Trust and a Labour MP who has suspended him from a
research position, the regional Labour Party claimed in the Yorkshire
media they were unable to get in touch with him.
I would have to say that his political career is probably not looking
too good at the moment. It is almost unheard of for the Labour Party to
issue such a statement.
If a Liberal Democrat had been arrested in a hotel room for gross
indecency, the Lib Dems would already be arranging for their candidate
to be given a medal and a year's free 'barely legal' pornography.
