Socialists can't even get socialism right!
Two sets of statistics appeared this week.

On the one hand, high income earners now pay a marginal rate of tax of
57.1%. Source: Centre for Policy Studies.

At the same time, the poorest in UK society seem to get poorer. The
bottom 10% of society saw an increase of their income by 18.2% against a
national/society-wide average of 25%. Source: the Department of Work
and Pensions, in a study measuring today from the election of 1997.

Not even our beloved socialist chancellor can get his stealth taxes
right.

It is now clear that only a flat rate of tax can help the poor and, at
the same time, liberate the investors from wasting their money on tax.
