Well, since the role of the ACMD is laid out in the 1971 Misuse of
Drugs Act, his review can say what he likes.

It would take an act of parliament to affect the ACMD.

Johnson looks like Eight Ace in Viz, with the red alcohol blotches on his
face.

I might call him that instead of postman, but I do like "postman sacks
Nutt".

I also read a comment earlier today where someone who knew Gordon Brown at
University claimed he inhaled. I wish I'd bookmarked it, it was in the
Guardian or Telegraph, I think.

I hope that no more resign, as refusing to elect a chairman would be a 
more effective method of buggering up the system of "advisors" whose 
real task seems to be not to advise but to endorse "government" policy, 
however irrational that policy might be.

If they resign, though, Postman Pratt will just appoint more.
