Big Brother Watch.

Friday, 20th January 2006. Outside Celebrity Big Brother House. A cold,
windswept catty-looking Davina (hair all over her face) interviews
inscrutable, aristocratic actress, Rula Lenska, on her eviction night.
Throughout the interview, Davina focuses exclusively on Galloway--with
pictures of George on the giant screen in the background--while pretty young
Preston hardly gets a mention, even though he nominated Rula too. Now that's
what I call "balance"! Big bad George, the honourable member for the 
"Pakis",
who went to Iraq to persuade Saddam to disarm and avoid  a war, is rubbished
because he had supposedly turned on Rula, his "friend". You know, the one
that grassed him up, officiously announcing, in a loud stage-whisper, that
"we are not supposed to talk about our nominations, George."

Davina tells Rula about the celebrated cat role-play. You know, the bizarre
sketch that the Big Brother backroom boys and girls dreamed up and asked
George and Rula to act out.  Photos of tabloid front pages showing the
sketch flash up on cue. Davina hisses to Rula: "But you were only a poor
actress doing what you do; GEORGE IS AN MP!" Shock, horror.

Politicians acting? Unheard of.

Then, loopy Russell Brand, Big Brother's Big Mouth, who obviously learned
his trade watching Kilroy-Silk, bounces on to the screen, head over heels in
love with himself. He flits like around the studio like a demented bat
interrupting people speaking in mid-sentence, brazenly showing off, never
letting the viewers forget for a moment that this is really the Russell
Brand show. Yuck!
