I know that the FAQ says: "Being moderated means that there is a very high 
signal to noise ratio and no general discussion", but all I have ever seen 
is postings of the FAQs.

How's about some topical posts from the moderators to get the ball rolling 
and to give some idea of what sort of thing should be expected here?
