Tick ****ing tock
Tried for sleep. No such luck. Feel too awake. Mind can't shut out the
incessant tick tock tick tock of the bedroom clock.

Funny how it can sound louder sometimes compared to others.

Try listening for the silences in between. I used to do that and I'd
drift off eventually. Ya never know!

Thanks .Finally got to sleep around 4.30. Was worried i would oversleep
and miss my injection but didn't.

My care co ordinator who usually gives me my injection thinks i might
need to see my consultant again. I explained to her that although the
injection helps me to be less paranoid and prone to weird thoughts it
doesn't do much for my lack of motivation- that sometimes i don'tt get
dressed for several days at a time and don't like going out of my flat
much.

She thinks i might be depressed.I told her i don't feel as though i'm
depressed, that i either feel too little ie blah/grey or feel too much
ie negative emotions.
When i explained further(that the lack of motivation/not wanting to get
dressed etc had been going on for quite a while) she said the lack of
motivation sounds like a chronic rather than acute problem and could be
a negative symptom of my illness.

Re: Tick ****ing tock
I remember those times only too well! Have you tried reading in bed or
a warm bath before bed or getting a quieter clock for the bedroom or
anything like that?

My bedroom clock is silent (except when the alarm rings). However I can
hear my watch ticking on occasions - not bad for 160 year old
(allegedly) hearing.

At least your care co-ordinator is taking an interest in you. I hope
something good comes of it.
