Did this old friend go to your funeral?
Hope you're not being affected by hurricanes. I haven't really been
following them but I remember bits on the news about tropical storms
growing in strength and heading towards SE USA.

(u2b) no, he lived in england at the time. i did attempt suicide, but he
knew i didn't die. i'm not sure why he told this old online friend of mine
that i was dead. maybe he wished it so?

(u2b) i live in lower central texas, so we do get *alot* of effects from
hurricanes. i'm not on the beach though, so once the hurricanes get this
far up, they are reduced to tropical storms.

I'm glad you failed. (That's not something you get to write often

Just read my tabloid du jour - Tropical Storm Fay is moving northwards
through Florida and trying to become a hurricane.

(u2b) i'm glad too, nige. it was a bad time for sure, and i spent nearly a
week in ICU. it was close, but thankfully i did survive. at the time i was
angry to have survived, but now....oh how glad i am that i did!!!!

(u2b) yeah, i think ole Fay is gonna terrorize Florida this time and leave
texas alone. :))

i dunno. this person was quite close to me. i must admit to being in alot
of shock to find that they had told someone i was dead. i guess this person
thought i wouldn't ever talk to the girl they told i was dead ever again.
you can imagine the shock this girl is now feeling to discover i'm *not*
dead!!

What they've done - if it's a true report you've got - is not the
behaviour of someone who wishes you well any more, is it?

I've just spent the last 15 minutes trying to imagine a malicious toad. But
all I could manage was a slightly indifferent frog.

I think this toad would look a little more malicious without the pearl
earrings.
