It's a usenet-wide problem Spencer. The only groups that still seem 
strong on usenet are the computing/techie/Linux ones. I think the problem 
is that there's now a generation who seem to have no knowledge of usenet. 
Given how clunky forums and other web-based interfaces are for simple 
text based opinion & info this seems something of a regression. Usenet is 
plain & simple and all the better for it. Less is indeed more. But at 
this rate it will soon be extinct outside of IT and academia...
