Looks as tho spam is taking over the group.
If MI5 spammer reads this. You say you are being victimised, well that

I don't see those any more. I may have blocked them or something: can't

i ain't got no message rules, and i'm not seeing them either.
i think some cancelbot has got the measure of that particular bunch of
spammers (i wish it would pay some attention to my major newsgroup).
magic things, cancelbots ... prowl around usenet looking for
suspicious behaviour, and cancel the messages from that source; all
done in the twinkling of an eye, so you have to be very unfortunate to
pick up one of these spammy messages. (doubly unfortunate, of course:
a waste of time [double plus bad if you're on dialup], but the
messages range from irritatingly stupid to downright offensive so you
have to be careful not to read them.)
