She was quite old when we were in contact, so I reckon she must have died 
when the emails and snail mail stopped.  That was 5 years ago now.  :(

Not sure - do you need visas for OZ?  Just hoping that the visit comes off. 
Himself won't go but says I can go on my own.  He has just heard from the 
hossie - 2nd October for follow up appointment.  Follow up to what?  The 
original appointment when they said he needed an op?  or do they think he 
has had the op and this is a follow up to that! Have to get him sorted 
before I can make definite plans
Anyway the idea is that I will try to make it to Oz in April for my uncle's 
75th birthday and my cousin's 50th

Well I wanted to be Himself seems to think it is ok, just hospital talk
He was told that he would have a pre-assessment visit before the op so maybe 
this is it
