G.M.T. Sunday 31st August 2008
Good morning from cloudy Cornwall. I see there is a weather warning in
force for this area for thunderstorms - now what have we done to deserve
those?
Thoughts are with all who may be troubled in any way.
Enjoy your day.

Morning Mike :-)
Morning all :-)
Not sure whether I'm up to stay or not but thought I'd sign in anyway.
Taken a dose of thingumybobs just now cos right hip was too busy in
Ellesmere Port yesterday, it's moaning like mad!
Can't see what the weather's going to do yet, it's pitch black out there :-)
But my thermometer says it's 18.2°C outside so we've had another warm night.
We watched many farmers out in their fields on our journeys to and fro
yesterday all harvesting some good crops. Well, today's the last day of
August, we start September tomorrow and, if the past few years are copied,
that's when the nice weather starts ;-))
Poorlies get into wellies as soon as you can and have a great day, all of
you Upslanders :-)

good morning folks. We have warm muggy mist right now, with a promise of
hot muggy later on!
Make the best of your day, and best wishes to the poorlies and lonely.
And everyone else, of course!

Good morning Mike, very dark and threatening here and we are told to expect
thunder storms too, can't be because of all the sunshine we have had!!
Have a good day. I am soon unplugging my computer - just in case.

Yorkshire.

Looks as though the thunderstorm has passed to the east of us - Plymouth
looks to have copped it.
You look as though you could be getting a deluge :-(
And it's even spreading to Walthamstow :-)

Morning all,
We had thick fog here in the early hours (1am onwards) which turned into
rain the later early hours.
Dull and overcast this morning - but very warm out there
Have a good day

Yes, so I saw - we are supposed to be having heavy showers - no sign
since the early hours.
But it is very humid and warm out there 28 degrees at the last look.

Re: G.M.T. Sunday 31st August 2008
Hello all - We have a nice sunny day here with temps to be in the 70's.
Came back last night from Aunt Josie's funeral (104 yrs old).
While in New Jersey, we stayed with our son.
He took us for a sail out in NYC harbor. It was beautiful seeing
the NYC skyline up close, by day and by night.
Now we're back home and are recovering from all that driving.
Best wishes to all.

Most of the day here was a no day. No wind, no wet stuff, no BYT just dull.
About an hour ago the wet stuff arrived with a vengeance and since then it's
seemed brighter. Still been mild with the temperature in the low sixties.
Good afternoon one and all
