MIA ? JRT ?
OK he's not often here at the weekends but there's not been a post since
24th June in Oldrose's happy birthday thread.

Thanks Sandra.
Oops, just found my LOA in the drafts folder. Memory fading?

I'm Ok. It's just that I have what the doc calls 'frozen shoulder'.
I think it is RSI from sitting at the 'puter resting my mouse on my
knee for hours on end.
Doesn't feel any different after a while away from the 'puter so, just
like Arnie, I'm baaack.
Belated birthday wishes to anyone I've missed.

Welcome home, JRT :-))
Frozen shoulders are a pain in more ways than one, sometimes they heal fast,
other times they drag on and on.
Hope it's the former with you.

Gently ....((((JRT))))

It's bearable. Just reminds me it's there now and then.

I'm allergic to anti inflams. They bring me out in a terrible rash.
Every sensitive part of me swells and itches. :-(

Not yet as it is bearable.

bit further.
He'll be in after and tell you what he did :-)

Hi John, had similar myself. All of a sudden one day couldn't get into my
back pocket to get my wallet out,(serious business as Goose was buying me
something with my money).

Went to see local physicalterrorist(Rugby player) who advised that it was
the bag of fluid in the joint, somehow two sides of the bag had got stuck
together hence the limited movement.

Cure. Support yourself against a wall with the affected arm, walk the hand
up the wall to stretch the joint then lean in pushing the joint that little
bit further. 1 or 2 leans at first about 4 times a day, gradually building
up to about 10. Yes it bl--dy hurts initially but gradually eases as the
joint becomes freer.

Try that and see how you go.

Gander.

Thanks Ray, I know that feeling well. GGJ refuses to have a credit
card, hates using a debit card, but doesn't mind using mine.

Let's be honest, Smokey, when you're in that state *anything* is worth a
try.
But it did the trick for Ray so hopefully, it will for you and JRT.
Keep it up till you start to feel an improvement, then do it a bit more
ambitiously ;-)

It must work cos I now do indoor climbing with freeish shoulder joints. (Not
suggesting you do that though.)
