Pandora's Star (Slight spoiler warning!)
I like the nod to obtaining an ancient signed copy of Raft by Stephen
Baxter. From what I have read so far, it very much reminds me of Dan
Simmons, Hyperion Cantos. Example there is a vast AI system. There are
wormholes between worlds aka farcasters. I'm only a quarter of the way
in and am enjoying it immensely. Can't really see the enemy yet,
Silfen? The High Angel? What is at the Dyson Pair?

I shall read on.

Thanks Pete enjoying it so far.

While I see your parallels now, I didn't pick them up at the time. The
writing is so much worse than Simmons, and the pace so much faster, that
I was just carried along.

You will, you will...
