a Depeche Mode night at The London Stone.

DJs Stix,Valeriun,The Baron and guest DJ Rev J
will be playing mainly Depeche Mode, covering the full span of their
career, with the occasional track by other appropriate/related bands
for variety.

The venue is a gothic themed pub with an intimate atmosphere, and a
decor rather reminiscent of a 70’s Hammer Horror film set.

Drinks are at pub prices with a special offer of vodka shots at £1.00
each.


The evening will start at 9.00pm, and continue to 3.00am,



Admission will be £5.00.

A night to celebrate three of the greatest pioneers of the synthesizer
- Gary Numan, Ultravox and John Foxx.

John Foxx was a founder member and and lead vocalist of Ultravox,
before leaving the band to pursue a solo career. Ultravox then
achieved great commercial success with Midge Ure as singer/songwriter.
It was arguably the earlier lineup though which was the more
influential on emerging electronic acts, such as Gary Numan. Numan
first came to prominence in 1979, and continues to tour and write to
this day. At 'We Came To Dance' we will play music from every stage of
the careers of these three interrelated and important eighties acts


Djs Valeriun,Stix,The Baron,Steve Weeks[Ultavox fan club/Slimelights]
and Roger Millington[YTDS]
will be playing all the best tracks from these artist and a few other
relevant classics
