The 3rd annual UK Decay Communities ‘Class of 1979 - 1989 Reunion
III'

A celebration of UK Decay, Punk, Post Punk and Alternative music from
the Luton area in the years between 1979 and 1989.
Featuring live Punk, Post Punk bands and artists, DJ's, Films, poets
in a massive punky party Night of Celebration.

Legendary Luton band UK Decay, seminal luminaries of the Post Punk
and Goth movements, are set to reform and play live for only the
second time in twenty-five years.

Day Glow Anarcho Punx, Rubella Ballet who later this year headline
the Drop Dead Festival in Portugal and the Gothic Pogo party
(Leipzig,
Germany) also join the party.

The grittiest of the local punky crop, S.W.A.N.K., The Adenoids and
Rogue will highlight the contemporary local scene. Other acts include,
Milton Keynes, Dun 2 Def, punk poet Nick the Poet and Leicester’s
Los Cyclones.

Top alternative DJ’s Nephilimbabe, Nick Switch, Bonzi and Andy Attic
will provide music for the party atmosphere after the live music has
finished.

Film screenings include Zillah Minx’s (From Rubella Ballet)
'She’s a Punk Rocker UK' and ‘UK Decay at Luton Carnival 1982’

Photomontage artist in residence Hugh Byrne, will be looking for
colourful people to photograph and integrate into digital works for
a future exhibition.

All in the 350 capacity underground Sub Club and a the Long Bar
lounge, a second area hosting live music and film, garden, stalls,
food and
other attractions.
