finding out father's name on uk birth cert?
i'm looking for some pointers on where to go for info on this. my ex-
wife had a child with another man while we were separated. the
conception was the result of a one night stand and i have reason to
suspect that she may have named me as the biological father on the
birth certificate, something which i understand she could easily have
done as we were still married at the time, in an attempt to claim
benefits on my behalf. how do i go about finding out if i'm correct
not? i wouldn't imagine i could just go ordering random birth
certificates, & so far this is the only way i can think of checking.

any help appreciated, thanks in advance.
