Mobile link for disabled person
I care for my badly disabled wife & at home we rely on Warringtons Pendant contact centre.
This lets my wife just press her pendant button and the Tunstall unit rings the care centre
who then correspond by the loudspeaker. They then ring me as the carer.
The odd occasion that we use our caravan we have used a pair of mobile phones with
my number preloaded to her phone so I can leave her for for a while.
As her disability gets worse it is more difficult for her to find the correct buttons on the phone.
Can anyone recomend a mobile phone or device that just requires one obvious button press so
that the phone rings a pre-programmed telephone number?

Not sure if this would work for you.
I use a headset and voicedial a pre-programmed number on my mobile.
Dial my wife (who can speak on the phone to emergency services) or
dial whoever is needed. But does need the headset to be in before I'm
in trouble.

You can blank off some of the buttons with plasticard if need be.
As an alternative:
If you don't go out of (long) earshot of the caravan, a wireless switch
operating a set of air horns on the roof takes a lot of beating.. You
can buy a pendant operated wireless switch quite cheaply. That is what I
set up for a husband who liked to spend most of the day in the garden,
whilst his disabled wife was indoors.

The Nokia 6210 series (and probably later models) can have numbers
allocated to keys. Pressing and holding a single key will call the
number.

Like Sue said, there are some special mobile phones - I have come across
a few more than the one she mentioned. But for just reaching you, and
maybe not even needing to speak to you, it might work to just pre
program her normal mobile to call you if any number button is pressed.
Lots of mobiles can be set up this way, so try checking the manual of
those you've already got - think it's called something like speed-dial.
Also it's possible to mount a shield on the phone, so you just have to
press the shield, not a button. You can see a picture af a shield here
