Mileometer on disabled scooter
I got fed up withtrying to sue Scottish Borders Council over my
damaged scooter and din't feel safe on it really after it was
replaced. I bought a MercuryM48 from ebay and picked it up a month
ago. Wow, I had it serviced and it seems okay and I have been out for
miles on it. It is 5 years old but it apparantly looks good enough to
go another 3-5 years. Batteries maybe just over a year if i look after
them. What I want to know is if there is a gadget that I can attach to
the scooter somehow to tell me how many miles I have done.
Any ideas please?
I will do small claims when i get the motivation over the other
scooter as the council gets away with so much over the disgraceful
state of roads around here.

Re: Mileometer on disabled scooter
Hi Temperance, sorry to hear you have stopped chasing the council for now,
but it is understandable. I recall that there was a snall milometer that you
could buy from bicycle shops which used to attach to the handlebars and then
to the wheel. Would that manage for you maybe?

A bike one will do the job for you.
Ebay is flooded with them at very reasonable prices. Just search for "bike
odometer", and you'll get tons of returns.
Here's a few of them

Brilliant. Not losing much cash if it doesn't work on the scooter.
Just being outside again for a bit with the wind in my face and the
wonderful colours of Autumn. That's fantastic. It's just all the
preparation before hand that knackers me. lol.

Extra scarf's, pullovers, gloves, hat, big coat. I did price some canopies
last week but starting at £300 they are a bit OTT for me.
