Stupid Bl***y People
Had an item on Ebay a few days ago( Power Supply Unit) and first of
all got a bid and then the guy said he had bid thinking it was another
model and wanted to back off .Luckily he was overtaken by someone else
who won the item .I then discovered the item had a fault so I
suggested we agree not to carry out the transaction and I'd get his
money back for him but he said send it anyway so I sent it DHL 48 on
Monday .He ( or his missus) told me they had a controlled gate entry
but no intercom but gave me a mobile number to put on the parcel for
the driver so I did that .

He e-mails me today asking where the parcel is and saying DHL 48
stinks so I get the job of calling DHL on an 0870 number as he couldnt
read the waybill scan I sent him and it turns out they tried to
deliver on Tuesday but couldn't get access so presumably the driver
didn't see the Tel Number ( I just knew that would happen) .

DHL took all the details and are going to attempt redelivery with
specific attention being made of the mobile number .

Delivery drivers etc must love them ...he'd better not come back to
me and say he wants his £32 back cos the item is faulty .

"The item has a fault that I didn't notice" is a common statement you
get when things go for less than the seller wanted for them. Most
buyers would call your bluff on it for that reason. An unscrupulous
seller could probably turn that to their advantage.
