Dell and Paypal
I have been told that there was a thread on Ebay discussion boards this week
about Dell selling on Ebay but not having to offer Paypal "yet" as they were
being given time to bring their software up to date to allow them to accept
it.
This thread then mysteriously disappeared.
Anyone heard about this?

Re: Dell and Paypal
I hadn't heard about it until you mentioned it. I did a quick check of
the Del Outlet lsitings on eBay and sure enough, PayPal is not a
purchase option on any of them. It even clearly states that :
Only Credit Card or Switch payments are accepted for eBay orders by Dell
Outlet. We can not accept cash, personal cheques or Paypal.
In their Seller payment instructions. Presumably, Dell are a large
enough company that eBay have allowed them some latitude rather than
risk being taken to court. I suspect Dell have a good team of lawyers.
Their 10,000+ sales on eBay probably help too :-)
Just in case anyone else is interested in checking out the Dell listings:

Tut, tut. There's some people posting really negative comments on there, I
don't know how people could do such a thing.
