A look at unregistered adoption support organisations
`
I have moved the previous discussion on MSN about 'Trackers International'
to our private website

http://postadoption.info/racismhomophobia contact me for the password

But STOP and THINK then make up your own mind, do you want people like
that involved in your search?

Just a reminder of why you don't really want to risk it.

Not registered as an Adoption Support Agency

Not registered as a company or LLP

Not registered as a charity

Not registered with any trade or professional register.

Not registered with anything that gives you any kind of confidence.

Not inspected by CSCI or any other body that checks for standards of care,
so not checked for things like racism, religious prejudice and homophobia,

The Data Protection Act.

Can anyone tell me the details of Trackers International's registration
under the Data Registration Act?

Can any of you think of any more reasons why you would not want a completely
unregistered unregulated organisation on your case?

Religious beliefs, be they common or more esoteric, should play no active
part in post adoption search and intermediary / reunion work. When they are
used to intimidate that spills over in to the area of criminal harassment.
