There were hundreds of semi-pro groups working during the Sixties in
the North East of England yet there is very little reference to them on

the Internet. We believe that it was a very important part of youth
culture in our area and we are hoping to bridge the gap by attempting
to bring together ex-group members in the area for a laugh, to exchange

yarns and maybe even give a song or two.
The success of this venture will, of course, depend on the number of
people who get to hear about it so we would like to extend a warm
welcome to ex-members of any of the groups who were working at the time

to contact us.

We have arranged a monthly venue near Durham City and further Details
and dates of forthcoming meetings can be found on our new web site at

the area can keep in touch.
