It's actually a set of three by a Michigan band that most people who
didn't happen to be living in Southern Michigan between 1969 and 1971
never got the chance to hear. The group is the Frost. The albums are
Frost Music, Rock And Roll Music and Through The Eyes of Love. It could
be that the albums matter so much because I saw the band live half a
dozen times or so.

Tamara, Actually quite a bit like their others. I would say that it's a
bit more pollished and maybe lacks a bit of the raw energy that we
heard in the first 2. Musically though, it could be called their best.
It's a studio album that received little or no promotion, which
probably accounts for the fact that it went nowhere.

Here are two of my favorite garage sale finds:

and one where i paid a quarter just for the cover. I wish I knew what
this one sounded like:

Daydo by Alun Davies from about '72 is really over looked IMO.

Absolutely. I'm not sure if it has even been released on CD. This is
basically Cat Stevens's band from 1972 with Davies instead of Stevens taking
the lead. His songwriting is strong and the performances are terrific.
My nomination for an overlooked classic is Hookfoot's "Communication". All
strong tracks, wonderful lively performances, and in "Oh Joanna" a song that
should have been at least a top-5 single. One of the catchiest songs I've
ever heard, and one I never tire of.

No it never has been released on CD and he says he's not interested, he
considers it to be in the past. His songwriting is surprisingly strong.
