Wanted: Joanna Carlin - "Fancy That"
I'm looking for a track (or whole album) from Joanna Carlin - "Fancy That"
called "Anyway My Guru Says No". Does anyone know where I can get a copy?

Re:Wanted: Joanna Carlin - "Fancy That"
Hi There,
My friend and I have been searching for this for years. (We first heard it
twenty five years ago.) We've since come across another chap who has also
been searching for years. If you do come across it, could you please put us
all out of our misery and tell us. The only help I can give is that the
album " Fancy That" was on DJM Records,1977, featuring the track "Anyway my..
..". Cheers.

Re:Wanted: Joanna Carlin - "Fancy That"
In response to your message on myreader.co.uk...

I have the very album of which you speak - Fancy That by Joanna Carlin. It
is on Vinyl, purchased almost thirty years ago when she did a gig at the now
defunct Cherry Trees motel (long since flattened and replaced by some
soulless corporate B&B like Travellodge) in Alcester in Warwickshire

The album is signed with a personal dedication. I like the album, but my
health has deteriorated to the point that I now consider what should happen
to my posessions when that dude with the scythe comes calling. I would
prefer it went to live with someone who will appreciate it rather than be
turned into a retro seventies flower pot by someone with a twisted sense of
style and a blowtorch.

I am open to *sensible and realistic* offers.

I have sent this e-mail to several other individuals who are seeking the
same album, so I shall wait a few weeks to allow offers to be made before
completing a transaction - I trust you understand.

Regards

Phil
P.S. I would appreciate a CD or MP3 of the album from whomever might
purchase it.
