amp repair in/near Oxford?
HI
I've got a Marshall JCM800 head (2210) that starts making funny noises.
Can anyone recommend a place for amp maintenance/repair near Oxford? Or
has anyone tried the repair service by Marshall?
many thanks in advance

Many here, including myself would recommend the services of 'Magical'
Trevor Ridney at Tipton Amps. He's in Brum, not Oxford but I can say
in all honesty that he is the best amp repair chappie I've ever
encountered. (I don't work for the company by the way - he's just
*that* good!)

Another vote for Trev from me.
I consider the two (170 mile) round trips (drop off and collect) from North
Notts to Walsall worth doing for Trev's level of service.

...and he does make a nice cup of tea too :-)
