Any experiences here with Red Dog music in Edinburgh?

To be fair, that attitude has been exhibited by quite a few guitar shop 
assistants (the more junior, the worse) over the decades. It wasn't limited 
to Sound Control and I bet that not all SC staff behaved like that.

Definitely not - it was only because one of the staff in SC Nottingham
took the time to approach me while I was browsing that I now own the
Jaguar that I would never otherwise have even considered. They may not
have been the cheapest, but I always found the staff had time for me.
