Bummer - I was hoping for a hangover-cure Bloody Mary at a
yet-to-be-decided venue.

We used to do the acoustic set on Sunday morning, but too many people
were either too hung over or wanted to get off for a long journey.

Well, my train to Bristol leaves at 3.27 - so plenty of time for a pub
lunch for me. I'd like to treat my landlady to Sunday lunch (I say 'my
Landlady' - she's actually very important to me. Fiona was Chris
Rockliffe's partner until he died last year - Chris was - um
something else...anyone who reads RMMGA will kow of him.
There's a not bad boozer halfway up the paved shopping street at the
bottom of town - It's not a big deal - like - whoever's around.
I can't imagine being too hungover to play an acoustic set - surely a
certain amount of brain damage is a prerequisite?

We also used to all stay in the same Hotel, which was the venue for
the whole shebang.. So we were still all together Sun morning for
brekfast. Nowadays we're all somewhat scattered over various hotels
and B&B's, and only have a venue for the one day, so it's diffifcult
doing much on Sunday at all. But if you want to meet people for a
swift couple of beers before the long trek home, I'm sure a few will
oblige.
