Buxton - Bass Player required for "Sylvia" *URGENT*
We need a bit of help here, guys!
The original volunteer for this part has dropped out of Buxton.
Is there another bass player out there to take this one on?
It's urgent because you'll need time to learn the part and we'll lose
another attendee if we can't find a bass player this week...
Thanks.

it.

Point me at a sound file of it. Haven't played bass for years but
unless it's murder I can prolly hold it down.

n066y ... much as it pains me to make this momentous decision, against
all reasonable advice, some of it medical, I will sing Twisted Sister.
(OMG ...).
Pls modify the matrix.
Nige.
PS. I am NOT promising vocalistical miracles and I sing, oh, several
semis flat.

Sorted. I've had a word with Pete Stokes (aka Bertie) and he's happy with
that.
I'd suggest that Michael e-mails him via the Matrix.
I think that there's an mp3 on the ftp server.
Let me or Pete know if you need anything else.

Out of interest, what happens if the song sponsor fails to fill all the
vacant spots?
(especially vital spots)

Generally they get someone to agree to do it when they are drunk at the
pub the night before. Hey, worked for us (or would have done if it had
not been the telford year!)
