David Torn - just wierd
I found this clip by 'Splatt' on TGP who also seems to be David Torn

http://www.kollguitars.com/audio/splattercell-judybox.mp3

AFAICS it's played on a Koll 'Tornado'. It starts getting wierder circa 2:00
in.

That is gorgeous. Not keen on the fizzy bass on the OD pedal, or the
fuzz clipping, but his playing is simply sensational. I only have one
album of his, Polytown. It's ace though.

I need more. Someone recommend!

Certainly gets my vote for the breadth of tones/styles covered in one piece.
There's flavours of Hendrix, Trower, Page, Hallsall and Gibbons without
actually quoting any of them (AFAICS), Definitely worth a few listens.

That is an amazing bit of playing. I didn't find it weird at all - awesome
is a better word.

Cheers for the link,

Brian.

I was meaning 'wierd' in the way it develops from the start to very OTT
sounds later on. Wierd in a good way.
