Strat jack plate
Does anyone know where to find a NON recessed Strat jack plate. I.e.
same shape as the strat jack plate but just a flat bit of metal with a
hole drilled through it?

Years ago I remember seeing these for sale as cheap strat bits and
seen on a few pawn shop type guitars but can't seem to find any
online, they're all the 'proper' design.

Cheers

How quickly do you want it?
Give me a few days and I'll make you a stainless steel one.

Wow. Can I have one made out of Michelle Pfeiffer's pants?

There's no burning need for it. I was thinking about buying a cheap
strat and modifying it so I'd need to buy that first.

No worries!
I've got time on my hands at the moment and a workshop at the bottom of the
garden.

I've got a couple of Strats here. I'll take the shape and screw hole centres
from those, put a jackplug sized hole mid-way between them, then give it a
polish on the machine. It might be a little bit thicker than a standard
jackplate though.Will that do?

I'll plan on bringing it to Buxton unless you want it before, in which case
I'll post it to you.

That would be great Dave. Yeah getting it at Buxton would be fine. I
already owe you a beer for the Hotel and with this just ups the count.
I hope you know how to play geetar while drunk :-)
