Les Paul Struck by Lightning

It looks as if the truss rod acted as a conductor.
Why anyone would want to buy it though I don't know.

It would seem that God, if indeed she exists, is a Fender aficionado...

Heh - reminds me of that old remark attributed to Arnold Palmer who
has been struck by lighning twice. He was prcticing driving with a 1
iron and a thunderstorm broke, and like all American golfers when a
storm breaks he threw down the iron and headed straight fot the
pavilion.
Of course, the minute he threw down the club he was struck by
lightning. Later, in recovery, someone mentioned his luck and he said
"Not even God can hit a 1 iron."
