4 way switch and neck humbucker
Is there a way to wire a 4 way switch with a neck humbucker and bridge
single coil on a telecaster?

Yes but you need to have a separate earth wire. You could rewire a
2-conductor pickup like a Gibson 57 Classic.

Re: 4 way switch and neck humbucker
Hello thanks for the two replys. Since i posted i have bought a telecaster
72 RI wide range humbucker , they always look and sound nice. Its coming
from the usa and cost £30 new. I have a 4 way swtich somewhere and like the
extra tone. I thought it was the neck pickup that changed polarity on a
usual mod.
I think all the nashville teles are mexican by the way

It is. That's why you need a separate earth wire.

I think that the Fender Wide Range Humbucker has only 2 conductors - inner
and the braid? Those on the 1973 Tele Deluxe that I rewired today certainly
did.

Personally, I don't think that the reissues sound as nice as the originals
but Bulldog pickups did a superb rewind on one that transformed it into
something very chimey* indeed.
