Brand new POD 2.0 £85.00 from GAK or £85.99 from DV247 - and you can be
sure you'll get 12 months warranty and all the bits that you should have in
the box. Might be cheaper elsewhere too if you hunt through Google. That's
not a bad price considering the POD 2.0 was around £225 originally, and has
been hovering around the £100 mark for quite a while

Only if you shrink the price down to a pod 2.0 price ;-)

I have been trying to hold out til I get enough for a new one.
But my patience shrank faster than expected :-)
I look on gumtree now and again but I'm aware of the risk of sending cash to
strangers.
I've been stitched up too many times on ebay too so not risking that!!
cheers

I've been OK with all my e-Bay purchases to date thankfully, but being
bitten once by a dodgy deal is once too often.
I still like my POD 2 for some things - it's permanently connected to the
sound card on one of my PC's - otherwise I'd have considered selling it.
Sorry. :-/
I only know one other person with one - and I don't see him that often to
ask him whether he's still got it. TBH he probably part-ex'd it a while ago
knowing him. He got divorced, moved house and has changed his mobile number
and I only see him when I do, but that's about four times a year on average
so I'm due to bump into him any time soon. If I do, I'll ask the relevant
questions.

Well, I guess I never use my Pocket Pod, so it could be yours for a
reasonable price if you can collect from NW Surrey. Box and candy still
around here somewhere.
CBA to sort out packing and posting so pickup only.

Excellent, thanks :-)
I use amplitube for modelling fun, but the pc I use for music is quite low
spec so some models need more rescourses than the pc can handle :-(
It is darn good fun mind you!

I'm near Beatles country so pick up not really viable.
No worries.

Enforced I think. Although maybe LOL. Caught with pants down. Likes new
toys and not just confined to guitars 'n' stuff. You can imagine the rest

I'm in NE surrey, and have to travel to Liverpool sometime within the
next month or so for work. Any use?

Seems a lot of hassle - though I do appreciated the offer.
P&P would seem the most sensible option (at my cost obviously)

As it happens, said guy rang me yesterday about a PC problem. I of course
forgot completely about his POD at the time :-) But I now have his mobile
number, so have just texted him to see if: a) he still has the bean, b) if
he wants to sell it, and c) how much he might be willing to do so for. I'll
let you know what he says.

He replied last night. I must have been making a bloody row at rehearsal so
didn't see it until now :-)
Unfortunately (for you), he uses his POD 2.0 every day for practice as he
has to watch the noise where he's living, so it looks like it ain't for
sale. Sorry.
I don't know exactly where you are, but I guess you aren't too far from me.
Back Alley Music (Mold, Chester, Warrington) have the POD 2.0 for £99,
Dawsons, Chester, Warrington etc... have them for £95 and DV247 and GAK have
them for around £85 on-line

Ah, no worries. I appreciate you trying. Many thanks.

There is a place locally but the tend to be expensive, a couple of weeks
back they were still advertising the pocket pod at £84.95 IIRC
Not sure how much the pod 2.0 is there. I may save a bit more and next time
I'm in see if they will "price match" GAK etc.
Noticed there is another on gumtree (near stockwell station) @ £45 but do I
trust total strangers...........
cheers and many thanks again.
