GAS - biggest ever (bor me)!!
Bought on Monday this week - a totally scrumptious Gibson SJ-200 (in the
all-important sunburst).
Like this one:
<http://www.gibson.com/en%2Dus/Divisions/Gibson%20Acoustic/Modern%20Classics/Super%20Jumbos/SJ%2D200/>
... but did I mention that it is in the all-important sunburst, making
it look like this one (but new)?
<http://www.kummersvintage.com/images/62gibsonj200.jpg>
Fitted with the transducer and a neat little volume control located just
inside the bass side of the soundhole.
Man... this is *some* guitar - it makes my J-50 sound more like a
cardboad box.
The only downside (if you can call it that):
... it's not mine. I'm happy to say, though, that it is James Jnr's
chosen graduation present (awarded a BSc II.i this week - pause for
round of appause from all he have met him).
We actually tried a natural finish example a couple of weeks ago
(they're actually hard to find at the moment), but the non-sunburst
finish just doesn't have the charisma (IOHO).
Still... it's so good, I might just save for a few months and get my own.
Anyone interested in a J-50? :-)

James is now aware of all your good wishes and thanks you all for them.
He is also grateful to his mum for doing his washing this weekend in
record time.
You never know... the J200 (and James) might make an appearance at Buxton.
