There was a fairly lengthy appreciation of Bo's work on the "PM"
programme tonight.

I'm sure the quality dailies will carry obits over the next few days.

Why does the BBC keep insisting that Bo Diddley's famous
rectangular-bodied guitars were home-made?

Because they're ignoramuses. The "Gretsch" badge doesn't give it away,
of course.

Probably because they're mixing up home made and custom made
to his specs. Its a fact that I now feel old (and probably am) as a child
of the fifties.
Anyhoo, sad and no man can tether time RIP Bo

I think they're confusing him with Brian May. The similarities are obvious,
especially the home-made guitar bit.
