OT Musky Octopus
Apart from being a good name for a band it's actually in the current Lidl
specails line up of Greek food. Are you tempted by that food description?

Yes, and I have tried it. It is vaguely smoked/pickled octopus. It is
not especially nice but if you stick the octopus in paella and throw
away the oil it's OK. It is not the same flavour as the proper tapas
octopus in oil you get in Spain, but it's Greek. I did not like it eaten
on its own.

Lidl seafood and Greek/etc food can be very good but it often pitched to
'other' tastes.

About as tempted as I was many years ago on a NATO exercise (another story
altogether) when one of my colleagues swapped with a Spanish soldier his tin
of corned beef for an unidentified tin of Spanish army food.
What's it taste like? I asked, when he started to eat it.
The answer came back - I think it's donkey's dick in a spunk sauce!

:-(
